Caring for Your Eyes at Every Stage of Life

Your vision plays an important role in your daily life. However, many eye conditions develop without clear symptoms. This means your eyes could be affected over time without you noticing, and by the time changes appear, some vision loss may already have occurred.

The good news is that regular eye exams can help prevent this. Our clinic uses modern diagnostic technology to perform detailed eye health check-ups. We can detect potential issues early, often before you notice any changes in your vision.

We are committed to protecting your eyesight and keeping your vision clear and healthy.

What to Expect From Your Eye Exam

After reviewing your medical and eye health history, we will perform a complete eye examination. This includes a series of tests to check both your vision and overall eye health, such as:

  • Vision clarity testing using a standard eye chart
  • Eye movement and coordination tests
  • Refraction test to determine your prescription
  • Peripheral (side) vision testing
  • Detailed front eye examination using a slit lamp
  • Retinal (back of the eye) examination
  • Glaucoma screening

When Do I Need An Eye Exam?

Under 65
Adults under 65 should have an eye exam at least once every 2 years, to check for eye diseases and monitor any prescription changes.
Adults over the age of 65 are at a significantly higher risk of eye diseases than younger adults. In order to detect diseases early, those aged 65 and older should have an eye exam every year.
